[Birth Control] loss of sexual desire while on the pill

I have been on Alesse for almost 1 year. And, I've noticed that my sexual desire is just not what it used to be (as compared to when my husband and I were just using condoms). Can you recommend another pill that will not lower my sexual desire. I just got married 11 months ago and this puts a strain on us a lot of the times because it seems out of our control. Or what if I just didn't take the pill at all and we just went back to condoms? Thank you.
