Hello,I am just recovering from metastic thyroid cancer (total thyroidectomy). My gynocologist gave me a prescription for Loestrin Fe 1/20 two months ago and I still have not started it because I am afraid of side effects. Do you think this pill will help me with my bloating, menstrual cramps and oily skin ? I only have these symptoms for one week before I get my period. I am also worried about gaining weight? My husband and I use other means for protection, so I will only be taking the pills because I've been told they should help me. I really have NO complaints about how I feel now before starting Loestrin and I'm wondering if I should leave well enough alone.
Please help! P.S. I am in my early 30's.
