I am 9-1/2 weeks pregnant. I spotted slightly yesterday, and called the Dr. immediately. (I was 9-1/2 weeks pregnant in 8/01, spotted slightly, and it turned out the child had died about 1 week before).I went for an untrasound today: - baby looked fine (dated at 9.5 weeks) - heartrate was 188 bpm
My concern: The doctor said their was a small clot in the sac. She said this was common after bleeding, and often goes away on its own. What if it does not go away? What are the concerns, risks, etc ?
I searched previous responses and could not find an answer which specifically addresses this. I'd really appreciate your response. I need to mentally prepare for possible problems.
Thanks.
