ON 1/35 is a relatively old formula, but it has been used for decades by millions of women with excellent results. It has been superseeded to a degree not so much because it is not a good pill (it is a great pill), but because it is out of patent and can be made in generic form now. If it worked for you, there is no reason not to use it.
