[Birth Control] Previous Weight Gain and Yasmin

During the past 2 months, I have gained almost 15 pounds. I have secondary ammenorhea, and was off birth control pills for almost 5 months until a few days ago. Previous to ending the BCP, I was much thinner, and almost had trouble keeping weight on. I excersise more and eat less now that I did before. Does anyone have any thoughs on this? My gynecologist put me on Yasmin in hopes is would help me loose some of this ridiculous weight I have gained. I am getting desperate! Please share any thoughts anyone has. Thanks
