[Birth Control] becoming pregnant after depo provera

I was taking the depo shot for about 5 years up until May 2001. I started my period before i was due for another shot and for the first couple of months i was having a period about every two weeks. now for the past few months my period has been every three weeks to the day i end my period. it's regular 5 days and i always know it will start back up 3 weeks to the day that it ended. i guess that's pretty regular but my question is how long will it take for me to become pregnant now? has depo cut down my chances of becoming pregnant? will it take years or what? does it mean that i am ovulating since i am getting my period? what's going on with me now? just a few answers please.
